Barrow Body Shop was one of the first body shop owners in the Atlanta area to purchase cutting edge technology: 1. Estimating software 2. Laser framer alignment equipment 3. Heated paint booth technology.

We proudly use Axalta Paint for collision repairs and 3M products for body and paint prep repairs. In order to restore your vehicle’s dimensions to factory specifications we have the Audi recommended Celette Dedicated Bench System. Most equipment that’s purchased for our auto body technicians comes from SnapOn.

We are located in Smyrna, Georgia but service the cities of Marietta, Atlanta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Powder Springs, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Alpharetta in Cobb County, plus Chattanooga and Knoxville, Tennessee.

Audi has two types of certifications: Ultra-Lightweight Metals Certification and the Aluminum Repair Certification; Barrow is certified to repair both.

Barrow Body shop is a Certified Factory Authorized Repair Center for Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover and Rolls Royce. Our body shop technicians are trained to repair aluminum, which is different than steel.

Barrow Body Shop is an I-Car Gold certified body shop.

Our History

In 1978, Blake Barrow graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Finance. It was his desire to enter banking, but after returning home to Smyrna he started running the tiny on-site body shop. It was a small, 4 bay operation. The body shop was used as an excuse to build race cars. Cars started becoming more complex in their design as plastics were introduced to save weight. Automobile refinishing techniques were also changing. Manufacturers started introducing the two-stage paint processes.

Business has continued to expand since our humble beginning. The new shop is a cutting edge automotive repair facility that is specialized to handle even the highest quality vehicles on the market today.

Eco-Friendly Auto Body Shop

Barrow Body Shop is an eco-friendly body shop and automotive paint facility. We use low solvent paint products; our paint booths and the equipment used within them are all designed to make the least amount of impact on the environment. Since traditional paints can contain hazardous solvents, Barrow Body Shop uses waterborne paint which significantly reduces solvent fumes. The result is a cleaner and healthier work environment. Our downdraft spray booths were designed with quick dry time in mind. This helps reduce energy consumption. The Barrow Body Shop paint technicians use high volume, low pressure guns. Use of these spray guns significantly reduces overspray which helps to decrease harmful emissions and saves paint.
